Aspalathin linearis Leaf Extract (Green Rooibos) – Rooibos serves as a powerful antioxidant, as well as a rich source of super-oxide dismutase, vitamins and minerals and plays a role in the protection and repair of adipose tissue, helping to maintain skin fullness. With anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-mutagenic properties, rooibos is the star of the show. Glycerin – a humectant which attracts and retains the moisture in the air and in deeper layers of the skin. A skin-restoring ingredient found naturally in skin which mimics the skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF). Ascorbyl Glucoside (Vitamin C) – a derivative of L-ascorbic acid, which neutralizes skin-damaging free radicals, inhibits the production of pigment to fade and prevent dark spots, boosts collagen production. Unlike regular vitamin C, which can sometimes irritate the skin, ascorbyl glucoside is much more gentle. A ‘less irritating’ form of Vitamin C, suitable for sensitive or irritated skin.

Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran Extract - 20% more hydrating than hyaluronic acid, beta-glucans provide skin with deep hydration. It helps lock in hydration and prevent moisture loss, which results in smoother and more supple skin. soothing, moisturising and anti-aging properties. It also stimulates collagen production, activates immune cells, reaches the dermis where wrinkles form, helps diminish fine lines and roughness and increases skin firmness. Best of all it is an anti-irritant ingredient that is suitable for any type of skin.

Sodium PCA - Physio-Moisturizer & Extracellular Osmoregulator. L-PCA boosts epidermal total lipid synthesis. Therefore, L-PCA helps strengthen the skin’s lipidic barrier and thus improves the skin’s integrity and stratum corneum’s ability to retain water within the skin. Hence, the physical barrier is strengthened for a hydrated and comfortable skin. In addition to increase epidermal lipid synthesis, scientific studies have shown that topical application of PCA can also improve the organization of these lipid structures*.

Panthenol - a precursor of pantothenic acid (or vitamin B5). Acts as a powerful humectant meaning it holds and binds water, helping to maintain hydration in the skin. It also works as an emollient which means it can moisturise and soothe the skin, as well as help protect it from environmental factors and skin stresses.
