For optimal results for skin rejuvenation, we recommend that you start your treatment with one minute of static red-near infrared light to kick-start bio-stimulation. Then follow this with 6 minutes of pulsed light. Repeat a minimum of three times per week.

Q. Why are the Near infrared lights not working? I can’t see
them.
A. Near infrared light is not visible to the naked human eye. It is outside of the visible spectrum and, as a result, cannot be seen. However, there is a very slight glow that comes from the LEDs, especially in dark conditions. Please rest assured that they are working!
Q. How long should I use the device for in a single session?
A. To achieve the best results with Maysama’s Red Light Therapy panel, we recommend a total treatment time of 7 minutes (1 minute continuous wave, followed by 6 minutes of pulsed light), with red + near infrared light, minimum 3 x per week. If you cannot tolerate pulsed light, we recommend a treatment time of 10 minutes of continuous wave.
Q. Should I wear eye protection?
A: Whilst red and near infrared light can be beneficial for eye health, the light intensity for beneficial effects has not yet been clearly determined. For this reason, we recommend that you use your black-out goggles at all times when using your Pulse40 LED Light Therapy panel.
Q. When can I expect results?
A. Published studies show that improvements in the appearance of skin are gradual and develop with consistent use over 12 weeks. Individual outcomes may vary and will depend on skin type, concerns, and how regularly the device is used.
Q. Does Red Light Therapy interfere with Medications?
A. Red and near-infrared light wavelengths are widely studied and commonly used in cosmetic LED light therapy. However, if you are taking photosensitising medications or have any concerns, we recommend consulting a qualified healthcare professional before using this device.
Q. Can I overdo my Red Light Therapy?
A. For best results, we recommend using your LED device as directed and avoiding longer or more frequent sessions than advised. Consistent use within the recommended treatment times is designed to support gradual improvements in the appearance of the skin. More frequent or extended use is unlikely to enhance visible results.
